Day-by-Day Itinerary
Tanzania Heart of the Wild, 11 Days
Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha, Tanzania:
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Relax and adjust to the rhythms of Africa.
Day 2 – Arusha to Serengeti National Park:
After breakfast, we drive to the Serengeti National Park, famous for its vast, open grasslands allowing for excellent wildlife sightings. An introductory game drive will give you a taste of the safari adventures to come.
Days 3-5 – Exploring the Serengeti:
Spend these days on thrilling game drives across the Serengeti. Witness the famous Great Migration, and look out for the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo). Overnight stays are at a comfortable safari lodge within the park, facilitating early morning and late evening drives.
Day 6 – Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater:
Drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. This ‘Garden of Eden’ has a concentration of wildlife like nowhere else in Africa.
Days 7-9 – Ngorongoro Crater Exploration:
Explore the richness of the Ngorongoro Crater over these three days. Enjoy game drives within the crater and cultural experiences with local communities, while staying at a luxury camp on the crater rim.
Day 10 – Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha:
After breakfast, we bid farewell to Ngorongoro and journey back to Arusha where you can relax and reminisce about your safari experiences.
Day 11 – Departure:
After a leisurely breakfast, our representative will transfer you to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of an unforgettable safari journey.
